The test will come if I go to Adobe's website and there's an update there that I found and try to download before Adobe's automatic update process goes into action. Now, Control Panel Programs & Features screen shows about 345 MB instead of originally 641 MB not sure what's going on there. The check-for-update function in the product itself will find the current version, but that function on Adobe's website won't necessarily find the current version. Please note: Installation of the Adobe CC.
#Adobe reader download setup file install#
For some reason, the re-install didn't install the current version (I've seen that kind of thing before with Adobe), and I had to update to get the current version. If your device is not managed by Dedicated Desktop Support, download Adobe Acrobat Pro DC directly from Adobe. I am trying to install the latest adobe reader DC 18.011.20055 it is for a offline testing network but I am unable to install it still looks like it is trying to connect to the internet and then says unable to connect, I believe this is the link for the offline installs Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. Instead of a Setup folder there's a Temp folder with nothing in it. It left some junk behind and I deleted that.
